It is 9 o’clock on a September morning, and the Gingerbread Men are missing. They have escaped, and it is left to an energetic group of 4- and 5-year-olds—Primary Day’s newest students—to find them.
And so begins a search—a week-long search!—that will take the youngsters into classrooms and hallways. Through the auditorium, across the playground, and into school offices. And by the time they find the elusive Gingerbread Men, three things will have happened. One, this eager group of newcomers will know their new environment inside and out, and will feel confident and comfortable being here. Two, they will know each other—strangers will now be friends. And three, that powerful, engaging, and sometimes magical experience we call a Primary Day education will have begun.
